Venetian Night on the Riverwalk: Saturday, July 10

Take a trip to experience a glimpse of Venice on the Chicago River! Chicago's Venetian Night brings the famous, decorated Venice boat parade along with entertainment and fireworks from Navy Pier. This event is presented by Secretary of State Jesse White, Italian Consul General Thomas Botzios and WIND-AM's Shaun Thompson as the Italian American Human Relations Foundation (IAHRF). Mark your calendars on Saturday, July 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to attend. For more information, please visit this website.
 

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Air Show 

It's back! Join The City of Chicago and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels on Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to witness greatness and thrilling talent. The showcase will be on the Lakefront between Oak Street and Fullerton Avenue. This event continues to be free.

Please Note: On Friday, August 20, practice runs will occur 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
 

Visit The Lincoln Park Zoo

The Lincoln Park Zoo is always free for all visitors. Bring your scholar on an adventure and make memories looking at nature, animals, and enjoying a summer day in the park. Click here to view a calendar of events.

Fireworks at Navy Pier

Every Wednesday and Saturday, you and your scholar can head to Navy Pier for a viewing of summer fireworks. This show will last through Labor Day weekend. Be sure to check their schedule for additional shows added throughout the year and possible weather cancellations. Click here to view the firework show schedule and receive more information.
 
Please Note: Navy Pier will not be hosting fireworks on July 3rd or 4th.
 

Movies in the Parks

Tuesdays on the Terrace with The Museum of Contemporary Art
