Help Your Child Succeed

At Acero Schools, we believe that parent relationships are linked to student achievement. Teachers engage in home visits during the year, call parents regularly to provide updates on the progress of their child’s learning, and meet with them before or after school when necessary. All parents are expected to sign a “parent contract” that delineates the expectations of the parents and the school. Principals meet with parents regularly in individual and small-group settings. All Acero staff and faculty also participate in a wide variety of activities that occur throughout the year, including monthly Family Literacy Nights.

We are proud of our strong parental involvement program, which creates and sustains a vital link between home and school. Acero's Family Engagement team collaborate with school leadership and parents to actively participate in the education of their children. This is done via frequent communication, school-sponsored family activities and an emphasis on accountability.
